About Florence || Florence is a multi-award winning dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Quebec, Canada. Known for her elegance, grace and the quality of her choreographic work, she is quickly becoming a sought-after choreographer and teacher throughout Canada and the United States.
Of French-Canadian & French descent, Florence was raised by parents that encouraged her to follow her passions. She quickly discovered her love for the performing arts and began to study Gregorian chanting and dramatic arts. A short time later, she discovered Middle-Eastern dance with Denise Enan. After a year of training, Denise and Ahmed Enan asked Florence to dance in their folkloric dance company. It was at that moment that she realized how much she loved dancing and that she wanted to make it her career. Since then, Florence has continued her dance education, pursuing a second degree in contemporary dance & ballet; studying Latin, ballroom & Flamenco; and learning from some of the most well-known teachers of the Middle-Eastern dance community (including Aida Nour, Khaled Mahmoud, Raqia Hassan, Soraya Zaed, Khadija Jabiry, Aziza, Yamil Annum, Yousry Sharif, Nourhan Sharif, and Valerick Molinary).
